CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 4A <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Swenson, Public Safety Director <br />MEETING DATE: July 27, 2015 <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 15-078, Approving Change Order No. 1 <br />Fire Station No. 2 Project <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Staff is requesting council action to approve Change Order No. 1 of the Fire Station No. 2 <br />Project. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Revisions to the Fire Station No. 2 site plan were necessary as part of the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District and Anoka County Highway Department permit requirements. The details of these <br />revisions can be found in the attached CNH Memorandum. The cost associated with Change Order <br />No. 1 is $42,727.00. The Fire Station No. 2 Project original contact amount was $3,847,100.00. <br />With the approval of Change Order No. 1, the new contract amount will be $3,889,827.00. The <br />project contingency can accommodate this change order.
