CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15-93 <br />AUTHORIZING REPORT ON IMPROVEMENTS <br />NE AREA DRAINAGE SYSTEM <br />WHEREAS, the City has identified the need to develop a stormwater management system to <br />convey stormwater from land lying north of Main Street between the City of Hugo and Peltier <br />Lake; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best interest of the city to prepare a <br />feasibility study of the proposed improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, WSB & Associates, has submitted a proposal to perform such services; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that: <br />1. the proposed improvement, called the NE Area Drainage System, be referred to WSB & <br />Associates for study and that that person is instructed to report to the council with all <br />convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed <br />improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as <br />proposed or in connection with some other improvement; and the estimated cost of the <br />improvement as recommended. <br />2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a professional services <br />agreement with WSB and Associates, Inc., in the amount of $69,076. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of September, 2015. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Stoesz and was duly seconded by Council Member Kurtcrman and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Stoesz, Kusterman, Roeser, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none (Absent - Rafferty) <br />ATTEST: <br />e Bartell, City C erk <br />
