CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15-107 <br />APPROVING A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT FOR ELWOODS GRAND OPENING <br />WHEREAS, Clayton Gratz of Elwood's has submitted an application for a special event permit; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Elwood's wishes to hold an open house with a small fenced in area outside of the <br />south door in the parking lot area; and <br />WHEREAS, Elwood's open house is scheduled for Friday, October 9, Saturday, October 10 and <br />Sunday, October 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and <br />WHEREAS, Elwood's has submitted a plan to set up barricades outside of the south door. <br />WHEREAS, food prepared inside may be consumed outside; and <br />WHEREAS, alcohol can only be served and consumed within the licensed premise; and <br />WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the special event plans and have determined that they meet <br />the requirements of the City's ordinances; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes the issuance of a Special Event Permit to Elwood's to be <br />held October 9 — October 11. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28th day of September, 2015. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Raf fertyand was duly seconded by Council Member Kusterman and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Rafferty, Kusterman, Roeser, <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />Julia e Bartell, City Cl rk <br />Jeff Rein rt ayor <br />
