DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT <br />Figure 10 <br />Regional trailhead facilities are located at Bunker Ilills Regiona'Park and Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park <br />Reserve. These parks provide ample parking, restroom facilities and additional trails and amenities within <br />the parks. There are City owned facilities located at Lakeside Commons Park and Beach in the City of Blaine <br />and at Marshan Park in the City at Lino Lakes. These provide parking and restroom <br />-facilities as well as additional outdoor recreation amenities. <br />Trarlhe.eI signs, as illustrated in Figure 11 are proposed at the major intersections <br />along the trail, VVay-findingdirectional signs, as illustrated in Figure 12, will be <br />posted along the trail at decision points as well. <br />Figure 12 <br />Page 11 <br />Storm water management for the proposed trail is to follow <br />the requircments of the MN Department of Natural <br />Resources, MN Pollution Control Agency, Army Corps of <br />Engineers, Coon Creek and Rice Creek Watershed Districts, <br />and any tit her permitting and regulatory agency <br />rego ireinents at the time of construction. For example, in <br />certain jurisdictions, water quality treatment for a trail can <br />he achieved through a minimum of a five foot wide vegetated filter strip or <br />vegetated open space located down -gradient of the trail.
