RESOLUTION NO. 16-33
APPROVING PLANS FOR THE COUNTY ROUNDABOUT CONSTRUCTION
PROJECT AT THE INTERSECTION OF COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY 12
(109TH AVE. NE/APOLLO DR.) AND COUNTY ROAD 53 (SUNSET AVE.)
WHEREAS, Anoka County has prepared construction plans for a roundabout at the
intersection of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 12 (109th Ave. NE / Apollo Drive)
and County Road (CR) 53 (Sunset Ave.) in accordance with Anoka County and the
Minnesota Department of Transportation standards; and
WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution No. 15-150 approving the Joint Powers
Agreement with Anoka County for the Roundabout Construction Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, WSB and Associates, has reviewed and approved the
construction plans for the Roundabout Construction Project; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino
Lakes hereby approves the plans for the Roundabout Construction Project at the
Intersection of County State Aid Highway 12 (109th Ave. NE / Apollo Drive) and
County Road 53 (Sunset Ave.).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Engineer is authorized to sign the
construction plans on behalf of the City.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of May, 2016.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council
Member
Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member Maher
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Rafferty, Maher, Kusterman, Manthey, Reinert
