COUNTY OF ANOKA
RESOLUTION NO. 16-46
APPROVING A PEDDLER LICENSE FOR ROVE PEST CONTROL
WHEREAS, Trevor Asher, Representative for Rove Pest Control, has submitted a peddlers
license application to the city clerk's office; and
WHEREAS, Trevor Asher has complied with all of the provisions of Chapter 613 of the Lino
Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary license; and
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has conducted a background check on
the company representatives that will be working in Lino Lakes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby approves
the request of Trevor Asher, Rove Pest Control, to travel throughout Lino Lakes offering pest
control services for a period of six -months.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of June, 2016.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member Maher and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Rafferty, Maher, Manthey, Kusterman, Reinert

BACKGROUND
A representative from Rove Pest Control, 680 Hale Avenue, Oakdale, MN has submitted
a peddler's license application to the city clerk's office. The company representatives
who will be working in Lino Lakes are Mr. Julioangel Gomes, Ms. Melanie Reece, Ms.
Mckenna Dutson, Mr. Trevor Asher, Mr. Jarom Tamatoa and Mr. Ryan Fitzner. They
plan to travel through Lino Lakes' neighborhoods going door to door offering Pest
Control Services to interested potential clients.
The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license.
The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has performed a background check and
indicated no reason to deny the application.
The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for
review.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve Resolution No. 16-46, approving the issuance of a Peddler License for a six
month period contingent on the background checks.
