HomeMy WebLinkAbout2016-074 Council ResolutionCITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 16-74 RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 06-16 FOR PUBLICATION WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the first and second reading of Ordinance No. 06- 16, amending Ordinance No. 04-04 which established the Planned Unit Development for the Legacy at Woods Edge and the Lino Lakes Town Center Design and Development Guideline for the project; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 06-16 is lengthy and MN Statute 412.191 provides for a city to publish a summary of an ordinance, and WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the summary clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance, and WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of The City of Lino Lakes that the summary of Ordinance 06-16, attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby approved for publication according to state law and the City Charter. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25th day of July, 2016. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member Kusterman and was duly seconded by Council Member Manthey and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Kusterman, Manthey, Maher, Rafferty, Reinert The following voted against same: none ATTEST: Ju ianne Bartell, City ler EXHIBIT A CITY OF LINO LAKES SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 06-16 AMENDING ORDINANCE 04-04 TO MODIFY THE RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR LINO LAKES TOWN CENTER FOR WOODS EDGE The City of Lino Lakes City Council does ordain: Section 1. Findings of Fact. Section 2. Amendment. Amends Ordinance 04-04 by modifying the requirements of Section 4.0 of the Town Center Design and Development Guidelines related to housing mix, facade treatments, building setbacks, window and door recess requirements and building material requirements; and Amending Section 5.1 to allow a single user sign within the townhome neighborhood. Section 3. Development Regulations. As above amended, said Ordinance shall stand as initially passed and previously amended. Section 4. Effective Date of Ordinance. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after its passage and publication according to the Lino lakes City Charter and upon the filing of the final plat. This is a summary of the adopted ordinance.
