16 1. I-35W North Corridor Project Consent — Communit�� Development Director
17 Grochala said the matter is inforinational for the council at this point. No action has
18 been taken to this point. The date of the hearing will be November 20. Mayor Reinert
19 asked that the matter be added to the next work session action in order to formalize the
20 standing of the city even if that action is non action.
21 2. Review Regular Agenda

23 Item 1F, Minutes of Public Safety Update Special Work Session — Mayor Reinert
24 requested that the minutes be held from approval until the council has the opportunity to
25 discuss the direction on an annual capital contribution for fire equipment (to be discussed
26 at the next regular work session). The council concurred.

28 Items 2A, 2B and 2C were reviewed with Finance Director Cotton and Springsted Inc.
29 financial consultant to the city Terri Heaton. Ms. Heaton reviewed:

31 - the city's bond rating for the bonds (stable at AA);
32 - the city's strong management and fund positions;
33 - how the bond bids came through.

35 Item 3A — Administrator Karlson noted that extension of the intern position is requested
36 (for Alex McKenzie). These positions are normally extended through a one-year period
37 but not past that.

39 Item 4A —Resolution No. 16-1444, Accepting Traffic Safety Grant State Fiscal Years of
40 2017 & 2018 Renewal —Mayor Reinert suggested that this item be held from council
41 consideration until further discussion at the next regular work session. The council
42 concurred.

44 Item 6A — Resolution No. 16-135, Approving a Third Amendment to the PUD
45 Development Stage Plan/Preliminary Plat for Century Farm North - Ms. Larsen explained
46 that this is a third amendment to the Century Farm North development — side yard sets
47 backs would be changed to seven and one-half feet, or fifteen feet between all structures.

49 Item 6B through 6H — City Engineer Hankee reviewed the requests for three different
50 types of assessments to be registered with the county: individual, for municipal utilities
51 associates with private development, and city local improvement project.

53 The meeting was adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
