ADJOURN CITY OF LINO LAKES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES DATE: October 06, 2016 MEMBERS PRESENT: Thomas Colgan, Jim Schueller, Nathan Vojtech, Lou Masonick MEMBERS ABSENT: Julie Schwartz, Tami Wier, Chad Wagner, Don Johnson, Rebecca Glewwe OTHERS PRESENT: Michael Grochala, Alex McKenzie APPROVAL OF MINUTES It was moved by Mr. Masonick to approve the minutes from July 07, 2016. The Motion was seconded by Mr. Vojtech and passed unanimously. PROJECT UPDATES Mr. Grochala provided updates on projects throughout Lino Lakes. Watermark development will begin grading early next spring with ditch realignment options in the works. Distribution Alternatives is completing grading work with footing being poured, and the exterior shell expected to begin in a couple weeks. 21 st Avenue will be fully constructed next year, with the completion of the project. Northpoint development was approved in 2104 and is in their 41n development phase. North Oaks is still a development concept proposing 206 units. A CRJ/Centerville Rd ICE Study will be completed. A joint agreement between Lino Lakes, Ramsey County North Oaks Co, and Anoka County is in the works. The GREATERMSP is a group which works on bringing potential new projects to the greater MSP area. The group identifies potential sites that would accommodate potential developments. They have identified a possible project match for a 120 acre site north of Main St and east of I- 35E. The City will work with GREATERMSP and the developer to see if their businesses will a match for Lino Lakes. Mr. Grochala was pleased to announce the 49 Club has been demolished and site cleanup is underway. Saddle Club 2nd phase homes are being built. St. Clair Estates final plat will be going to the October Planning and Zoning Board. D.R. Horton purchased land from the City, near City Hall and the YMCA, and has begun grading work, with a potential of housing pads being poured 1 this fall. Century Farm 6th addition was approved. The roundabout on Sunset was completed before school started and is functionally operating. Don Julio's is expected to open in November. Eagle Liquors submitted a plan for Market Place Building B, which is under administrative review. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 AM.
