RESOLUTION NO. 16-173
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES, AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACT, 2016 SURFACE WATER MAINTENANCE PROJECT AND
ESTABLISHING A SURFACE WATER MAINTENANCE FUND
WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for quotes for the construction of the 2016 Surface Water
Maintenance Project, quotes were received, and tabulated:

WHEREAS, it appears that Olson's Sewer Service, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, due to the nature and timing of Surface Water Maintenance projects, the Finance
Department is recommending the establishment of a Surface Water Maintenance Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that the
Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Olson's Sewer
Service, Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the 2016 Surface Water
Maintenance Project according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on
file in the office of the City Clerk; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that a Surface
Water Maintenance Fund be established to account for the 2016 carryover of funds, as well as, the
Surface Water Maintenance allotment budgeted for annually in the General Fund Streets Budget.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of December, 2016.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member Maher and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor they
