RESOLUTION NO. 17-07
AUTHORIZING REPORT ON IMPROVEMENTS
WEST SHADOW DRIVE AND LAMOTTE AREA IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Resolution 14-65, adopted June 23, 2014, the City Council approved
the 2015-2019 5 -Year Street Reconstruction Plan, which identified the proposed timeline for
reconstruction of certain streets within the City; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed to update the plan and consider the improvement of West Shadow
Lake Drive (north of Birch Street), Sandpiper Drive, Shadow Court, LaMotte Drive and LaMotte
Circle, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it is in the best interest of the City to determine the
necessary improvements and estimated costs for inclusion in the 5 -year Street Reconstruction
Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes:
That the proposed improvement be referred to WSB and Associates, City Engineer, for study and
that they are instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and
feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement; and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of January, 2017.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Kusterman and was duly seconded by Council Member Manthey and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Kusterman, Manthey, Maher, Rafferty, Reinert
