THE PURPOSE OF THIS SPECIAL MEETING IS TO INTERVIEW
APPLICANTS FOR THE POSITION OF CITY ASSESSOR. YOU WILL
FIND ATTACHED THE THREE CANDIDATES' RESUMES AND QUESTIONS
THAT ARE APPLICABLE TO THE POSITION.
QUESTIONS TO BE ASKED PROSPECTIVE ASSESSORS

EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE
1. Educational background
2. Familiarity with rural appraisal
3. Familiarity with commercial appraisal
4. Use of Marshall Swift
EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING
1. Green Acres
2. Value of unplatted property in relation to platted
property
3. Exempt properties
4. Classification of CRV's (Certificate of Real Value)
for state rate study
OTHER EXPERIENCE
1. Previous experience with computerized appraisals
(coding for entry, etc...)
CURRENTLY REQUIRES
1. Certified Specialist Certificate, plans for further
education. As the city grows, the level will go up
as well.
FUTURE
1. Have you any training in townhouse or quad
appraisal for the future
TIME AVAILABILITY
1. How soon would you be able to start, and how much
time would you be able to dedicate to the City
