23 1. Tentative Agreement with AFSCME,Local 2454—City Administrator Karlson reported that
24 negotiations with city employees Local 2454 have resulted in a tentative one-year agreement. The
25 agreement includes no wage increase and changes to health insurance.

27 A council member expressed some disappointment that the cash option remains in the health
28 insurance program; while the amounts have been reduced, the practice of paying for an opt-out isn't
29 common in private business.

31 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve the agreement as presented. Council Member Roeser
32 seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote.

36 2. Dangerous Dog Disposition Agreement—Police Chief Strege explained that while a proposed
37 agreement has been developed, more discussion is occurring on the dangerous dog situation,
38 including discussion with the dog owner's attorney.
