RESOLUTION NO. 18-34
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
CRJ & CSAH 49 (HODGSON ROAD) TRUNK UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes 2030 Comprehensive Plan identifies trunk water main
improvements to strengthen the City's municipal water system and sanitary improvements to
service areas of the City; and
WHEREAS, the extension of municipal sanitary sewer and water facilities will aid in promoting
redevelopment of the area, will provide for future connection of existing businesses, allow for
upgrades to the existing water system and provide for the opportunity to remove connections to
the City of Shoreview system; and
WHEREAS, WSB and Associates, the City Engineer, has submitted a proposal to prepare plans
and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lake
that:
1. The preparation of the Plans and Specifications for the 2018 CRJ & CSAH 49
(Hodgson Road) Trunk Utility Improvements are hereby authorized.
2. WSB and Associates are designated as the engineer for this improvement and directed
to prepare plans and specifications for an amount not to exceed $46,502.00.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 26th day of March, 2018.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Stoesz and was duly seconded by Council Member Manthey and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Manthey, Stoesz, Maher, Reinert
The following voted against same:
none (Abstain — Rafferty)
