RESOLUTION NO. 18-38
RESOLUTION APPROVING RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT
COST -SHARE AGREEMENT
LAMOTTE NEIGHBORHOOD
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is proposing to construct street and stormwater
improvements in the LaMotte Neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) has a cost -share program for the
improvement and remediation of stormwater management systems in developed urban
environments; and
WHEREAS, the RCWD has awarded the City funding in the amount, not to exceed, $39,500 for
the LaMotte Neighborhood improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes hereby
approves the Cost -Share Agreement with the Rice Creek Watershed District and authorizes the
Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement on behalf of the City.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of April, 2018.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Stoesz and was duly seconded by Council Member Maher and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Stoesz, Maher, Rafferty, Reinert
The following voted against same:
None (Absent - Manthey)
