RESOLUTION NO. 18-67
APPROVING A PEDDLER LICENSE FOR THE WINDOW STORE
WHEREAS, The Window Store, has submitted a peddlers license application to the city clerk's
office; and
WHEREAS, The Window Store has complied with all of the provisions of Chapter 613 of the
Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary license for a for-profit business; and
WHEREAS, the background check on the company representatives who will be working in Lino
Lakes is contingent upon Public Safety Department background check;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes,
Minnesota:
Nicholas Fox and David Hoefs of The Window Store, are hereby authorized to vend for a period
of six -months beginning May 30, 2018 and ending November 30, 2018.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 29th day of May, 2018.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member Maher and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Rafferty, Maher, Manthey, Stoesz, Reinert

BACKGROUND
The Window Store, 2924 Anthony Lane, Minneapolis, Minnesota has submitted a
peddler's license application to the city clerk's office. The company representatives who
will be working in Lino Lakes are Nicholas Fox and David Hoefs. They plan to travel
through the Lino Lakes' neighborhoods setting up appointments for free estimates.
The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license.
The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has performed background checks and
indicated no reason to deny the application.
The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for
review.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve Resolution No. 18-67, Approving the issuance of a peddler license for The
Window Store for a six month period commencing May 30, 2018.
