RESOLUTION NO. 18-99
APPROVING A TOBACCO LICENSE FOR LINO ECIG CRIB
WHEREAS, the licensing period for tobacco licenses in the City of Lino Lakes is one
year, commencing on July 1 and ending on June 30 the following year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is required to approve all tobacco licenses; and
WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the application that has been submitted and verified
that licensing requirements are met; and
WHEREAS, the Public Safety Department has completed the required background
investigations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino
Lakes, Minnesota:
The City of Lino Lakes hereby approves the new tobacco license for Ecig Crib located at
7860 Lake Drive.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of August 2018.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council
Member Manthey and was duly seconded by Council Member
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:

Consider Approving Resolution 18-99, New Tobacco
License for Morin Enterprises, Inc. DBA Ecig Crib
Simple Majority (3/5 Vote Required)
Michael Morin has applied for a tobacco license for Morin Enterprises, Inc. DBA Ecig Crib.
This is a new business which is located at 7860 Lake Drive. The tobacco license will expire on
June 30, 2019 with all other tobacco licenses in the City. Staff has been working with the
license holders to put in place all requirements to allow for Council consideration at this time.
BACKGROUND
City policy requires a background investigation on the applicant (Micahel Morin) which has
been submitted to the Public Safety Department. The background has been completed and there
is no reason to deny the license at this time.
The applicant has completed the necessary documentation and paid the fee that is required for
the license. No license will be released until all requirements are met.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt Resolution 18-99, approving new tobacco license for Morin Enterprises, Inc. DBA Ecig
Crib, to run concurrent with all tobacco licenses through June 30, 2018.
