RESOLUTION NO. 18-127
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BASE BID AND ALTERNATES 1 AND 2
AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 2018 West Shadow
Lake Area Street and Utility Improvement Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated
according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

RL Larson Excavating, Inc.
$5,552,842.97

$5,813,831.52
WHEREAS, it appears that Geislinger & Sons is the lowest responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
Geislinger & Sons in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the 2018
West Shadow Lake Area Street and Utility Improvement Project according to the plans
and specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidder the Bid
Bonds made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8th day of October, 2018.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
