RESOLUTION NO. 18-147
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR RECORDING THE
FINAL PLAT OF SS PROPERTIES ADDITION
WHEREAS, review and approvals of plats are governed by Minnesota Statutes and City of Lino
Lakes ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the final plat for SS Properties Addition was approved by the City Council on
January 22, 2018 with Resolution No. 18-03; and
WHEREAS, Section 1001.059(3) states the developer shall record the plat within 90 days after
the date of approval, otherwise the approval of the final plat shall be considered void, unless the
developer requests and receives an extension from the City Council; and
WHEREAS, on April 9, 2018, the City Council passed Resolution No. 18-37 granting a 90 day
extension for the recording the final plat to July 21, 2018; and
WHEREAS, on June 25, 2018, the City Council passed Resolution No. 18-81 granting a second
90 day extension for the recording the final plat to October 19, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the applicants, Scott and Shelly Carlson, have requested a third 90 day extension in
order to finalize details related to construction financing.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes the
final plat and related documents for SS Properties Addition shall be recorded with Anoka County
by January 17, 2019 unless an additional extension is granted by the City Council.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 22nd day of October, 2018.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
