HomeMy WebLinkAbout2018-176 Council Resolutionn CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 18-176 RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2019 WATER AND SEWER OPERATING BUDGETS WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed 2019 Water and Sewer Operating Budgets during their budget work sessions, and WHEREAS, the City Council each year adopts the Water and Sewer Operating Budget by resolution. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes, that the following Water and Sewer Operating Budgets for the year 2019 are hereby adopted: 2019 Water Operating Budget Operating Revenues $1,115,500 Transfers -0- Total Revenues & Transfers $1,115,500 2019 Sewer Operating Budget $1,757,000 -0- $1,757,000 Operating Expenses $1,541,570 $2,007,082 Debt Service -0- -0- Total Expenses $1,541,570 $2,007,082 Revenues/Transfers over/ Under Expenses $ 426 070 $ 25( 0,082) Use of Fund Surplus $ 426,070 $ 250,082 Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 10t' day of December, 2018. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member MantheV and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof. It has been the practice of the City Council to adopt the Water and Sewer Operating Budgets by resolution. It should be noted that the budgets include the cost of depreciation of infrastructure as an expense, and recovery of this cost is incorporated into the utility rate structure. RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the approval of Resolution No. 18-176. ATTACHMENTS Resolution No. 18-176
