RESOLUTION NO. 18-182
AUTHORIZING FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR WELLHOUSE NO. 7
WHEREAS, the City's Comprehensive Water Supply plan identifies the need to construct
municipal well no. 7, and
WHEREAS, the City is interested in determining the feasibility of converting an existing
farmhouse, constructed in 1893, for use as a well house for well no. 7; and
WHEREAS, the City finds it is also necessary to evaluate the proposed location for well
suitability; and
WHEREAS, WSB & Associates, has submitted a proposal to perform such services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
That staff is authorized to enter into an agreement with WSB & Associates to prepare a
feasibility study for Well House No. 7 in the amount of $20,200.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 201h day of December, 2018.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Maher, Rafferty, Manthey, Stoesz, Reinert
