. ORDINANCE NO. 2
An ordinance Defining and Prohibiting Disorderly Conduct and
Providing a Penalty for Violation Thereof.
Section 1. Disorderly Conduct. The doing of any of the
following acts without authority of law by any person or persons is
hereby declared to be disorderly conduct:
a. Wilfully disturbing any assembly or meeting not
unlawful in its character, or the peace and quiet of any
family or neighborhood;
b. Wilfully and lewdly exposing his person or the private
parts thereof, or procuring another to so expose himself,
and any open and gross lewdness or lascivious behavior,
or any act of public indecency;
c. Using profane, vulgar or indecent language in
or about any public building, store or place of business,
or upon any of the streets, alleys or sidewalks of the
village so as to be audible and offensive;
d. Voluntarily entering the water of any lake or
public swimming pool within the limits of the village
between the hours of 11:00 P.M. and 5:00 A.M., or
entering such water without being garbed in a bathing suit
sufficient to cover his person and equal to the standards
generally adopted and accepted by the public;
e. Appearing upon any public street or other public
place in an intoxicated condition or drinking intoxicating
liquor on any street or in a vehicle upon a public street.
Section 2. Disorderly Conduct Prohibited and Declared a
Misdemeanor. Disorderly conduct is hereby prohibited, and anyone doing
any of the move acts shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon
conviction thereof be punished by a fine of not to exceed one hundred
dollars ($100,00) or by imprisonment in the county jail for not to
exceed ninety days, together with the costs of prosecution in addition.
Section 3. Repeal. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. Effect. This ordinance shil be in force and effect
from and after its publication according to law.
