HomeMy WebLinkAbout1956-018 Council OrdinancesORDINANCE NO. 18 THE VIj.LAGE OF LINO LAKES The Village Council of Lino Lakes do ordain: SECTION 1. CERTAIN MINORS FORBIDDEN ON THE STREETS AT NIGHT. It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of sixteen years to be or loiter upon any of the public streets, alleys, or public grounds of the Village of Lino Lakes between the hours of 9:30 P.M. and 6:00 A.M. unless accompanied by and under the control of some person of lawful age, or upon some errand by permission or direction of his or her parent or guardian or employer. Such minor person shall not then loiter on the way, nor make any undue noise to disturb the peace and quiet of the Village. SECTION 2. ENFORCEMENT Any person who violates any of the provisions of the first section of this ordinance shall be subject to arrest by any Police Officer of the Village without process. Upon such arrest the person arrested shall be taken and delivered into the custody of his or her parent, guardian, or employer. Upon a second and every subsequent arrest, such offender shall be taken by such officer before the Justice of the Peace for trial, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not exceeding ten dollars ($10.00). SECTION 3. EFFECT This ordinance shall take effect and be in force after its passage and publication . Passed by the Village Council this 13th day of August, 1956.
