AN ORDINANCE CHANGING VILLAGE ELECTION DATE IN THE VILLAGE OF
LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 205.07 authorizes
the council to designate the first Tuesday after the first Monday
in November as the regular village election date,
AND WHEREAS, the council believes that this change in
election date should be made in this village,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES,
ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS:
SECTION I. Commencing with the 1964 village election,
the regular village dection of the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka
County, Minnesota shall be held annually on the first Tuesday
after the first Monday in November of each year.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage and publication.
