HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-030B Council OrdinancesInto LINO LAKES VILLAGE ORDINANCE NO. 30 B AN ORDINANCE AMENDING VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES VILLAGE ORDINANCE NO. 30, ENTITLED " LINO LAKES ORDINANCE NO. 30 REGULATING THE MOVING OF BUILDINGS OVER STREETS AND ALLEYS IN THE VILLAGE: PROVIDING FOR PROTECTION TO THE VILLAGE FROM DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF SUCH OPERATIONS.", ADOPTED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA, ON NOVEMBER 26, 1962. The Village Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota ordains as follows: I. C. FEE of 3.01, of SECTION 3, Application, of Ordinance No. 30, entitled SECTION 3, Application, adopted by the Village Council on November 26,1 is hereby amended to read as follows: C. FEE. The application shall be accompanied by a permit fee determined according to the following schedule: Square Footage of building Amount Up to 350 square feet $15.00 351 square feet to 600 square feet $25.00 601 square feet to 824 square feet $50.00 825 square feet and over $75.00 The above fees shall not apply to commercial buildings; the fees for commercial buildings shall be set by council resolution from time to time. II. SECTION 5. Duties of Building Inspector., of said Ordinance No. 30 is hereby amended by adding thereto the following: 5.03 Fees and Deposits A. Return upon Non -Issuance Upon his refusal to issue a permit the Building Inspector shall direct the Village Clerk to return to the applicant all deposits, bonds and insurance policies. Permit fees filed with the application B. Return upon Allowance for Expenses. After the Building has been removed, the Building Inspector shall furnish the Village Clerk with a written statement of all expenses incurred and of all damage caused or inflicted upon property belonging to the Village by reason of the removal. The Village Clerk shall return to the applicant all deposits after deducting a sum sufficient to pay for all the costs and expenses and for all damage done to property of the Village. Permit fees deposited with the application shall not be returned. 5.04 Designate Streets for Removal. The Building Inspector shall procure from the Village Council or its designated representatives a list of designated streets over which the building shall be moved. The Building Inspector shall reproduce the list upon the. permit in writing. Determination as to designated streets shall be made to assure maximum safety to persons and property in the Village and to minimizecongestion and hazards on public streets. 5.05 Tests by Village. Engineer. In those cases in which the Building Inspector is doubtful about soil conditions or water tables, he is hereby authorized and instructed to arrange for tests by the. Village Engineer and any cost thereof shall be. born by the property owner. III. Save for the foregoing amendments said Ordinance No. 30 shall stand and be effective as adopted and previously amended. IV. This Ordinance shall be effectivefrom and after its passage and publication as required by law. Passed by the VillageCouncil of the Village of Lino Lakes, Minnesota this 27th day of December, 1965.
