THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 31, AS AMENDED, OF THE VILLAGE
OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA, WHICH PROVIDES FOR THE LICENSING OF AND
REGULATING THE SALE AND CONSUMPTION OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR AND
WHICH WAS PASSED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL ON MARCH 25,1963.
The Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes, Minnesota
does ordain:
SECTION 1. That SUBDIVISION 3. of SECTION 4. LICENSE FEES.
Of Ordinance No. 31, so passed by the Village Council on March 25,
1963, is hereby amended so that the same shall hereafter read
as follows:
SUBDIVISION 3. The annual fee for an "on sale" license shall
be $1,500.00 for the year ending June 30, 1964, $1,750.00 for the
year ending June 30, 1965, and $2,000.00 for the year ending June 30,
1966, and for the year ending on June 30 of each year thereafter.
Such fee shall be paid as follows: The first one-half thereof shall
be paid before June 30 of each such year, and the second one-half
thereof shall be paid before December 31, of each such year, and
such second one-half shall bear interest, payable to the Village of
Lino Lakes, at the rate of 6% per annum, payable from and after
June 30 of the year in which same is due and until the date of payment,
and such interest shall be paid with said second one-half installment.
In the event that such second one-half is not so paid by December 31,
in any given year, then the licensee shall not operate under such
license until such second one-half installment and such interest
are so paid, and the police department of Lino Lakes shall impound
such license until such sums are so paid. In addition, if such
second one-half installment and interest are not so paid by December 31,
in any given year, then the Village may obtain such money from the
bonding company so issuing the bond to any such licensee which bond
is required herein by Subdivision 2 of SECTION 3. APPLICATION FOR
LICENSE, and such bond shall comply with this provision by the
issuance thereof.
SECTION 2. That save as hereby amended, such Ordinance No. 31,
of the Village of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, so passed by The Village
Council on March 25, 1963, shall stand and be effective as passed
and previously amended.
