HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-006O Council Ordinances1 ORDINANCE NO. 6-0 VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING A PORTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 6, OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, PASSED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL ON THE 18TH DAY OF JULY, 1955, BY ADDING THERETO A NEW DISTRICT TO BE DESIGNATED AS "LIMITED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT". The Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, ordains. I. SECTION 1. DISTRICT ESTABLISHED, of Ordinance No. 6 of the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, is hereby amended by changing the word "two" therein, to the word "three", thereby creating three districts, and by adding thereto the following: (c) Limited Commercial district II. Ordinance No. 6, of the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, is hereby further amended by adding thereto, immediately after SECTION 3. Commercial, thereof, the following: SECTION 3A. Limited Commercial (a) Area. All lands which shall, in the future, be designated, by ordinance, by the Village Council, as Limited Commercial District. (b) Uses. In the Limited Commercial district, unless otherwise provided herein, no building or land shall be used and no building shall hereaf er be erected altered or used except for one or more of the following uses, to wit: 1. All uses permitted in the residential and commercial districts, including those allowed therein by Special Use Permit, upon the issuance of such Special Use Permit; however, upon rezoning of any lands to Limited Commercial District, as herein provided, the Village Council shall state in the Ordinance so rezoning such lands the exact specific use which may be carried on upon such lands and in buildings erected or to be erected thereon, and any use different from such exact specific use shall be considered to be in violation hereof and subject to the Violation Section hereof and, upon prior hearing as required herein to change Zoning areas, the zoning of said lands may by altered to the zoning existing prior to amendment to Limited Commercial District, and the Village may further institute action to force the cessation of any_otha than the exact use so stated or the uses allowed in the prior existing zoning area, if the lands and buildings shall be rezoned thereto. III. Save as above amended, said Ordinance No. 6 shall stand as initially adopted and as previously amended. IV. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to law. Claseno�1.141L'AncaK being duly sworn, on oath says he is and during all the times herein stated has been the editor litibilSiTtlX and printer of the news- paper known as Blaine Life and has full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows: (1) Said newspaper is printed in the English language in newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed space to at least 900 square inches. (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once each week. (3) Said newspaper has 50% of its news columns devoted to news of local interest to the community which it purports to serve and does not wholly duplicate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and advertisements. (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75% of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as second-class matter in its local post -office. (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the City of Blaine in the County of Anoka and it has its known office of issue in the City of Anoka in said county, established and open during its regular business hours for the gathering of news, sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions and maintained by Arch G. Pease or persons in his employ and subject to his direction and control during all such regular business hours and at which said newspaper is printed. (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by Arch G. Pease and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper. He further states on oath that the printed Ordinance No. 6-0 hereto attached as a part hereof was cut from the columns of said newspaper, and was printed and published therein in the English language, once each week, for one successive weeks; that it was first so published on Friday the 18th day of July 19 69 and was thereafter printed and published on every Friday to and including the day of 19 and that the following is a printed copy of the lower case alphabet from A to Z, both inclusive, and is hereby acknowledged as being the size and kind of type used in the compo- sition and publication of said notice, to wit: abcdefghi j klmnopgrstuvwxyz ametagmatagowtaticowfic Subscribed and sworn to before me this (Notarial Seal) 18th day of July 1s 69 Pc_"t 1f 7 GRACE M.
