HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-006Q Council OrdinancesORDINANCE NO. 6Q VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES COUNTY OF ANOKA STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND AMENDING PORTIONS OF SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 6 OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, PASSED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL ON JULY 18, 1955. The Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, ordains: SECTION 1. Sub paragraphs identified as (d), (e), (f), and (g) of SECTION 5. Trailer Camps and Temporary Habitation, of Ordinance No. 6 of the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, passed by the Village Council on July 18, 1955, are hereby repealed. SECTION 2. SECTION 5. Trailer Camps and Temporary Habitation, of Ordinance No. 6, of the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, passed by the Village Council on July 18, 1955 is hereby amended by adding thereto the following: (cc) No mobile home or house trailer used as a residence may be parked or kept on any lands within the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, unless the same are so parked or kept in a trailer camp, duly established in compliance with law, or unless parked upon lands owned by the person so parking or keeping same thereon, when such person is about to start, or in the process of, building his own dwelling house thereon, for which a total of four (4) consecutive 90 day permits, maximum, may be issued by the Building Inspector, upon the payment of a fee for each such permit, which fee is to be established by resolution of the Village Council, the first such permit to be issued upon the issuance of a building permit for said dwelling house construction, and any and all of the three (3) subsequent permits will be issued only if the applicant therefor is able to prove that there is substantial progress commensurate with the remaining intervals of any of the above listed permits remaining, and if the Building Inspector determines that such progress has not been had, he shall refuse any further such permits and said owner shall immediately remove such mobile home or house trailer therefrom; in addition, any placement or keeping of such mobile home or house trailer upon said premises after the termination of any valid permit period without the obtaining of -a subsequent permit or after the fourth 90 day period has lapsed shall be in direct violation of this ordinance and punishable as such, the permitee having the burden of obtaining the second, third, and fourth such permit. SECTION 3. Save as above amended, said Ordinance No. 6 shall stand as adopted and as previously amended. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to law.
