STATE OF MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 56, OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES,
PASSED BY THE THEN VILLAGE COUNCIL ON JULY 26, 1971, AND AFFECTING
THE USE, OCCUPANCY, PARKING OR STORAGE OF MOBILE HOMES, TRAVEL
TRAILERS, MOTOR HOMES, CAMPERS AND SIMILAR VEHICLES AND ITEMS IN
THE CITY OF LINO LAKES.
The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County,
Minnesota, ordains:
SECTION I
Ordinance No. 56, of the City of Lino Lakes, passed by
the then Village Council on July 26, 1971, is hereby amended by
adding to Section 4.11 thereof the following:
In addition to the foregoing requirement that all mobile
homes shall be located in an approved mobile home park, occupancv
or use by living in, sleeping in, use for office, business,
industrial, manufacturing, testing or storage of items used with
or in a business or commercial or industrial enterprise is hereby
prohibited in or on any mobile home, travel trailer, motor home,
camper or similar vehicle or item within the City of Lino Lakes;
such travel trailers, motor homes, campers or similar vehicles or
items may be only parked or stored on residential sites when used
for recreational purposes by the family residing in the dwelling
on such site and such vehicles or items shall have affixed thereto
current registration or license plates if and as required by law
and shall be stored so that same shall meet all side, front and
rear yard set back requirements of the Residential Section of this
Ordinance and such parking or storage shall otherwise meet all other
requirements of any other City Ordinances and any State Laws. None
of such parked or stored vehicles or items shall be connected to
any water or sewage disposal system on said residential property
where same is so parked or stored.
SECTION II
Temporary parking and occupancy of one recreational vehicle
per residential parcel shall be allowed for non-residents of Lino
Lakes fo.r a maximum of a 48 hour period in any one year if such
parking and occupancy otherwise complies herewith. Any such
occupancy, beyond 48 hours, for a total maximum period of 30 days,
shall be only upon notification to the City Police Chief or his
designated representative; a second 30 day period shall be granted
by the Police Chief or his designated representative. Any such
occupancy as stated in this paragraph shall be only for noncom-
mercial use with no fee paid to the land owner, occupant or renter.
SECTION III
Save as herin amended said Ordinance No. 56 shall stand
and be effective as originally passed and as previously amended.
SECTION IV
This Ordinance shall be effective upon adoption and
publication according to law.
