HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-076 Council OrdinancesORDINANCE NO. 76 CITY OF LINO LAKES COUNTY OF ANOKA STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE MAXIMUM FINE FOR ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 50 PASSED ON SEPTEMBER 22, 1969 BY THE THEN LINO LAKES VILLAGE COUNCIL. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA ORDAINS: SECTION I. Pursuant to the authority granted to the Council of the City of Lino Lakes, under Minnesota Laws 1977, Chapter 355 amending Minnesota Statutes 609.032, any person guilty of violating any penal ordinance of the City of Lino Lakes hereinbefore adopted by the City of Lino Lakes, shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the County jail for a period not to exceed Ninety (90) days or both, plus the costs of prosecution in either case. SECTION II. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to law. SECTION III. REPEAL. This Ordinance repeals Ordinance Number 50 passed on September 22, 1969, by the then Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes.
