HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-072A Council OrdinancesORDINANCE NO. 72A CITY OF LINO LAKES COUNTY OF ANOKA STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 72 PASSED ON MARCH 10, 1980 AND EXTENDING A MORATORIUM ON SUBDIVISION AND BUILDING IN A PART OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, has not yet completed its current Comprehensive Plan Amendment but same should be completed within the near future, and WHEREAS, it is deemed desirable and necessary for the preservation of health and safety that the Moratorium declared by Ordinance No. 72, of the City, passed by the City Council on March 10, 1980, be extended for a one year period from March 10, 1980; NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, ordains: I. Section II of Ordinance No. 72, passed by the City Council on March 10, 1980, is hereby amended so that the same shall be as follows: II. This Moratorium shall remain in effect until the Comprehensive Plan Amendment is approved by the Metropolitan Council and the passage of 90 days thereafter or one year from March 10, 1981, whichever is less. II. Save as hereby amended, said Ordinance No. 72 shall stand and be effective as passed and published. III. This Ordinance shall be effective from and after its passage and publication according to law. Passed by the City Council this 9th day of March, 1981. F. Kenneth Gourley, Mayor ATTEST: Edna L.
