HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019-031 Council ResolutionCITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 19-31 APPROVING UPDATE TO PERSONNEL POLICY WHEREAS, periodically staff reviews the City's Personnel Policy to make sure it is up-to-date and provides staff with appropriate controls for internal Personnel Administration; and, WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the Personnel Policy and recommends a modification to Section 6.5 Workers' Compensation; and, WHEREAS, Section 6.5 Workers' Compensation shall now include a time parameter for paying out the difference between workers' compensation and employee wages at a limit of 90 days. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA, that the aforementioned update to the City of Lino Lakes Personnel Policy is hereby approved. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8th day of April 2019. BACKGROUND Staff periodically reviews the City's Personnel Policy and recommends updates as needed. Staff is proposing a revision to Section 6.5, which inserts a time parameter for paying out the difference between workers' compensation and employee wages to a limit of 90 days.
