RESOLUTION NO. 19-39
RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 4-19
FOR PUBLICATION
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the first and second reading of Ordinance No. 4-19,
WHEREAS, MN Statute 412.191 provides for a city to publish a summary of an ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the summary clearly informs the public of the
intent and effect of the ordinance, and
WHEREAS, publication in the City's official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed
copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes
approves the summary in Attachment A for publication according to state law and the City
Charter.
Adopted by the Council of the Lino Lakes this 25th day of March 2019.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member Maher and upon vote
being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:

SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 4-19
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 207 OF THE LINO LAKES CITY CODE
The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota ordains:
STATEMENT OF INTENT AND PURPOSE
Section 207.05 of Chapter 207 states who in the City of Lino Lakes is allowed access to data
following a criminal history background investigation of employment applicants. This section is
being revised by striking "Director of Administration" and replacing it with "Human Resources."
Effective Date of Ordinance. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after its publication.
A full printed copy of the ordinance is available for review at the Lino Lakes City Hall, 600
Town Center Parkway.
