' RESOLUTION AND MOVED ITS ADOPTION:
CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 97-73
RESOLUTION RECEMNG REPORT AND
CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT.
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the
council adopted May 27, 1997, a report has
been prepared by OSM, Inc., with reference to
the improvement of Lilac Street between Fourth
Avenue and Apollo Drive by constructing water -
main and sanitary sewer, and this report was
received by the council on June 9,1997, and
WHEREAS, the report provides information
regarding whether the proposed projet* is nec-
essary. mot -effective; and feasible,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO
LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. The council will consider the improve-
ment of such street in accordance with the
report and the assessment of abutting properly
for all or a portion of the cost of the improve-
ment pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter
429 and the Section 8 of the Lino Lakes City
Charter at an estimated cost of the improve-
ment of $176,729.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such
proposed improvement on the 14th day of July,
1997, in the council chambers of the city hall at
6:30 p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and
published notice of such hearing and improve-
ment as required by law.
Adopted by the City Council this 9th day of
June, 1997.

The motion for adoption of the foregoing
resolution was duly seconded by Council,
Member Lyden and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Bergeson, Lyden, Neal, Landers.
The following voted against same: None,
Council Member Kuether was absent.
Whereupon said resolution was declared
passed and adopted.
