Home My WebLink About1997-113 Resolution PublishedPRINTElt'S AFFIDAVIT or PUBLICATION Cb ineII Member Kuelher introduced the fol- lowing resolution and moved its adoption CITY OF LINO LAKES ELUTION N0.97.113_ RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR T1E Ni CENTENNIAL WOOLS SCHOOL STREET AND UTp.RY PROJECT WHEREAS, by a resolution passed, by the My Commit on August 25, 1997, the City Clerk was directedto prepare a proposedassessment of the cost outlined in the Development Agreement. for Centennial Middle School Street and Utility Project, and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the City Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in her office for public inspection NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF UNO LAKES, MIN- NESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on Monday, October 13, 1997, in the city hall, 1189 Main. Street, lino Lakes, Minnesota, at 6:30 P.M. to pass upon moon proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improement wilt be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed essess- ment to be publshed once m the official news- paper at least two (2) was prior to the hearing, and she shall state, inane notice the total costs of the improvement. She shall also caused mailed notice to be given to the owners of each parcel described in the.assessment roil not Tess than two (2) weeks prior to the hearings. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Clerk except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within thirty (30) days from the adoption of the assess- ment. He may at any time thereafter, pay to the City Clerk the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31, of the year in which payment La made. Such payment must be made before November 15, or interest will be charged through December 31 of the succeeding year. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25th day of August, 1997.
