Council Member Dahl introduced the fol-
lowing resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 99 8O
RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON
PROPOSED NT FOR THE
OSEMBESTAIRS'IMPROVEMENTS
wAS, by a resokdion passed by the
City on September 13, 1999, the City
Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed
assessment for the Gemeni Estates
Improvements, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the City
Council that such proposed assessment has
been completed and filed in her office for pus -
lie inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES,
MINNESOTA;
1. A hearing shall be held on Monday;
October 25, 1999, In the City Hall, 800 Town
Center Parkway, Lino Lakes, Minnesota, at.
8:30 P.M. to pass upon such proposed assess -
merit and at such time and place all persons
owning property affected by such improvement
will be given an opportunity to be heard with..
►eference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed,
assessment to be published once in the official
newspaper at toast two (2) weeks prior to the.
hearing, and she shall state in the notice the
total costs of the Improvement. She shalt also
cause mailed notice to be given to the owners
of parcet-described in the assessnbnt roll
not less than. two (2) weeks prior to the hear-
ings..
3. The owner of any property so assessed
may, at any prior to certification of the
assessment to the County Auditor, pay the
whole ofthe assessment on such property,
with Interest accrued to the date of payment, to
the City Cleric except that no interest shall be
charged if the entire assessment is paid within
thirty (30) days from the adoption of the
assessment. He may at any time thereafter,
pay to the City Clerk the entire amount of the
assessment remaining unpaid, with interest
accrued to December 31, of the year in which
payment is made. Such payment must be
made before November 15, or interest will be
charged through December 31 of the succeed-
ing

The motion for the adoption of the forgoing
resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member Neal and upon vote being taken there-
on, the followktg voted in favor.

duly passed and adopted.
