A special meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called
to order by Mayor Benson at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 8,
1989. Council Members present: Neal, Bohjanen, Reinert,
Bisel. City Administrator, Randy Schumacher and Clerk -
Treasurer, Marilyn Anderson were also present.
Mayor Benson explained that the purpose of this meeting is to
meet as the Municipal Canvass Board to certify the municipal
election held Tuesday, November 7, 1989.
Mrs. Anderson presented a written Municipal Canvass Board
report to the Council. She reported that the election did
run smoothly and the turnout was about 35% of the registered
voters. This is a better turnout than the previous municipal
election.
Mr. Reinert moved to accept the Municipal Canvass Board
report. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously.
The Municipal Canvass Board report is attached to these
minutes.
Mr. Bohjanen moved to adjourn at 7:04 P.M. Mr. Bisel
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
These minutes were considered and approved at a regular Council
meeting held on November 27, 1989.

We, the legally constituted Municipal Canvassing Board certify that- we
have herein specified the names of the persons receiving votes and the
number of votes received by them within the Municipality at the
Municipal Election held November 7, 1989, as appears by the returns by
said election in the tow (2) precincts in Lino Lakes duly returned to,
filed, opened and canvassed and now remaining on file in the office of
the Municipal Clerk witness our official signatures at Lino lakes,
Anoka County, this 8th day of November, 1989.
