RESOLUTION NO. 19-58
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FUNDING FOR RICE LAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council approved Resolution No. 18-58 to provide fmancial contributions to School
Districts for playground structures located within the city limits; and
WHEREAS, the Centennial School District is requesting City Council consideration in the amount of
$20,000 for the installation of new playground equipment at Rice Lake Elementary School; and
WHEREAS, the Centennial School District has committed $40,000 and additional funds in excess of
$22,000 have been raised; and
WHEREAS, the $20,000 City of Lino Lakes contribution will help this project become a reality and be
enjoyed by students and the community for the next several years.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes approves a
contribution in the amount of $20,000 for the Rice Lake Elementary School Playground Equipment
Project. Funding is from the Dedicated Parks Fund.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of May 2019.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Mahe' and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Maher, Raft - � they, S , Reinert
