RESOLUTION NO. 19-136
APPROVING A PEDDLER LICENSE FOR EDWARD JONES FINANCIAL
WHEREAS, Daniel Chrzanowski. Financial Advisors for Edward Jones Financial has
submitted a peddlers license application to the city clerk's office; and
WHEREAS, Daniel Chrzanowski has complied with all of the provisions of Chapter 613 of the
Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary license; and
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has conducted a background check on
the company representative that will be working in Lino Lakes, Daniel Chrzanowski within the
past 12 months; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby approves
the request of Edward Jones Financial to sell services door to door for a period of six -months
beginning October 15, 2019 and ending April 15, 2020.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th of October, 2019.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Stoesz and was duly seconded by Council Member i-he_y_ and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Stoesz, Manthey, Maher, Rafferty, Reinert
The following voted against same:
none

BACKGROUND
Daniel Chrzanowski. Representative from Edward Jones Financial has submitted a
peddler's license application to the City Clerk's office. He plans to travel through Lino
Lakes' neighborhoods going door to door offering financial services to interested
potential clients.
The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company
representative a license. There is a current background on file. The background indicated
no reason to deny the application.
The application and all other required infonnation is on file in the City Clerk's office for
review.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve Resolution No. 19-136, Approving the issuance of a Peddler License for a six
month period starting October 15, 2019 through April 15, 2020.
