CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 20-15
ACCEPTING BASE BID, AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT, WELL
HOUSE NO. 1 REHABILITATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Well House No. 1
Rehabilitation Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, one bid was
received from Municipal Builders, Inc. in the base bid amount of $669,900.00; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Municipal Builders, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
Municipal Builders, Inc. in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the
Well House No. 1 Rehabilitation Project according to the plans and specifications approved
by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidder the Bid
Bonds made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of March, 2020.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Stoesz and was duly seconded by Council Member Ruhland and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Stoesz, Ruhland, Cavegn, Rafferty
The following voted against same: Lyden
