CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 20-25
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF A WATER TREATMENT
PLANT FEASIBILITY STUDY
WHEREAS, the City Council, is evaluating short, mid and long term options to reduce
manganese levels in the municipal water supply, and
WHEREAS, the construction of a Water Treatment Plant is a possible course of action for the
City to evaluate, and
WHEREAS, WSB and Associates. the City Engineer, has submitted a proposal to prepare the
Feasibility Study.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes:
1. The Water Treatment Plant Feasibility Study is hereby ordered to determine if
the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to
whether it should best be made as proposed, and at the estimated cost of the
improvement.
2. WSB and Associates are directed to prepare the Feasibility Study for Water
Storage in an amount not exceed $34,538.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of March, 2020.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Stoesz and was duly seconded by Council Member Lyden and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Lyden, Stoesz, Ruhland. Cavegn. Rafferty
The following voted against same: None
