CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 20-42
ACCEPTING QUOTES, AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
LIFT STATION NO. 5 FORCEMAIN REPAIR PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for quotes for the Lift Station No. 5 Forcemain Repair Project,
quotes were received:
Contractor
Base Quote
GM Contracting, Inc.
$150,421.21
Ellingson Companies, Inc.
$154,645.00
EJM Pipe Services
Decline to Quote
WHEREAS, it appears that GM Contracting, Inc. of Lake Crystal, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that the
Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract GM Contracting, Inc.
for the construction of the Lift Station No. 5 Forcemain Repair Project in the amount of
$150,421.21.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 27th day of April, 2020.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember
Lyden and was duly seconded by Councilmember Cavegn and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof:
Lyden, Cavegn, Ruhland, Stoesz, Rafferty
The following voted against same:
None
