CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 20-71
APPROVING A PEDDLER LICENSE FOR L&G CONCESSIONS
WHEREAS, A Representative for L&G Concessions, has submitted a peddlers license
application to the city clerk's office; and
WHEREAS, L&G Concessions has complied with all of the provisions of Chapter 613 of the
Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary license; and
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has conducted a background check on
the company representative that will be working in Lino Lakes;
WHEREAS, L&G Concessions has written permission from John Magill, owner of the strip
mall located at 7997 Lake Drive.
WHEREAS, L&G Concessions is required to have a plan established and implement a COVID-
19 Preparedness Plan. Each Plan must provide for the business's implementation of Minnesota
OSHA Standards and MDH and CDC Guidelines.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby approves
the request of L&G Concessions, to sell political merchandise under a canopy in the parking lot
located at 7997 Lake Drive commencing July 14th through August 30, 2021.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of July, 2020.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
