The City will only be billed for actual services rendered, and WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed this project and determined that it meets the eligibility requirements (necessary expenditures due to COVID-19, not accounted for in the most recently adopted budget, expenditures will be incurred during the covered period of March 1 to November 15, 2020). NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes Hereby authorizes the Public Services Director to enter into an agreement with Electro Watchman for improvements to the access control system. BACKGROUND With this evening's approval of Resolution No. 20-103, the purpose of this agenda item is to approve the access control system upgrades associated with facility improvements related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Electro Watchman is currently the service provider for the access control systems at all city - owned buildings. The work provides necessary upgrades to existing door locations to integrate newly installed automatic door operator systems for touchless doors as well as the installation of new access control door locations with touchless/auto operators. Additional cabling and logic relay must be added at each auto operator to control door function properly. Facilities without existing access control systems will have a new network controller node unit installed for all door connections.
