RESOLUTION
The Council of the City of Lino Lakes passed the
following Resolution as a Special Council Meeting,
duly called -to order at 8:00 P.M. on January 25, 1978.
WHEREAS, the Anoka County Park Department has purchased
lands in what is,known as the Chain of Lakes Regional
Park to be used for park purposes, and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City Council
of the City of Lino Lakes a use of the Chain of Lakes
Regional Park is in direct violation to the agreement
between this City and the Anoka County Board of Commissioners,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, the City Council
of the City of Lino Lakes, rejects the proposed usage of
the Chain of Lakes Park for the purpose of establishing
a home for juveniles.
The Resolution was introduced by Mr. John McLean, duly
seconded by Mr. Richard Zelinka. All members were present
and all members voted, Aye.
