RESOLUTION
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that a letter be drafted requesting
a meeting within ten (10) days, with the Metro Council for the
purpose of obtaining a decision by the Metro Countil on the
implementation of the Lino Lakes -Centerville Interceptor with
a definition of firm installation date as soon as possible.
This Motion was made by Mr. McLean, Seconded by Mr. Jaworski.
The vote as follows: Mr. McLean - Aye; Mr. Jaworski - Aye;
Mr. Zelinka - Aye; Mayor Bohjanen - Aye. Mr Marier was absent.

Mr. Boland,
The City of Lino Lakes called a special meeting held or) May 9, 1974
with representatives from the Metropolitan Council, Metropolitan
Sewer Board, North Suburban Sewer Service Board and concerned
residents of the City of Lino Lakes invited to participate.
Since you were unable to attend this meeting and sent, instead,
a staff member in the person of Mr. Carl Burandt. the Council was
unable to obtain positive information in relationship to an
installation time schedule nor the type of system to be in-
stalled as the Lino Lakes -Centerville Interceptor. Mr. Burandt
informed the Council that he did not have the authority to reveal
the contents of his report that has been tied up in Metropolitan
Staff discussion since it was written in February.
As a result of this meeting and the inability to obtain necessary
information, the City Council request that a meeting with the
full Metropolitan Council be scheduled within ten (10) days from
the date of this letter.
This meeting will be for the purpose of obtaining from the
Metropolitan Council a decision on the implementation of the
Lino Lakes -Centerville Interceptor with a firm installation
date noted.
