of the
VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES
WHEREAS, the speed limit on Main Street in the vicinity of Lino
Lakes Elementary School has been set at 40 m.p.h.; and,
WHEREAS, the playground of said school is used by neighborhood
children after school hours and during the summer months;
THEREFORE, be it resolved, the Village of Lino Lakes requests the
Anoka County Board of Commissioners to petition the State of Minnesota
to again study the Main Street area in the vicinity of Lino Lakes
Elementary School and to further reduce the speed limit to 30 m.p.h.
Adopted this 8th day of June, 1970 on a motion made by Trustee
Cardinal, seconded by Trustee Jaworski, which carried by a unanimous
vote.
