WHEREAS, the County Board of the County of Anoka did adopt
a resolution extending the designation of County State Aid Highway
No. 23 by accepting the turned back section of old Trunk Highway
No.8, within the -corporate limits of the Village of Lino Lakes as
is described in the County Board action of June 16, 1970 attached
herewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Lino Lakes that said County Board action is in all things
approved.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of
a resolution duly passe adopted and approved by the Village Council

RESOLUTION
Turnback old Trunk Highway No.8
WHEREAS; Trunk Highway No.8 has been rerouted to follow Interstate
Highways 35W and 35, and
WHEREAS; That portion of old Trunk Highway No.8, located between
Trunk Highway No.49 (formerly Trunk Highway No.326) and
Northerly and Easterly to Interstate Highway No.35 has
been turned back to the jurisdiction of Anoka County, and
WHEREAS; It has been declared by the District Engineer that old
Trunk Highway No.8 qualifies for County State Aid Highway
designation.
NOW THEREFOR BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED; that the Anoka County Board of
Commissioners hereby accept the turnback of old Trunk
Highway No.8, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; subject to the approval of the Commissioner
of Highways, State of Minnesota, that the Anoka County
Board of Commissioners hereby request that the turned back
portion of old Trunk Highway No.8 between Trunk Highway
No.49 (formerly Trunk Highway No.326) and Northerly and
Easterly to Interstate Highway No.35 be designated County
State Aid Highway No.23, being 7.61 miles in length.

of the County Board of said County with the original record thereof on

stated in the minutes of the proceedings of said Board at a meeting duly
held on June 16th

copy of said original record and of the whole thereof, and that said
Resolution was duly adopted by said Board at said meeting.
