BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Governor Narold. LeVander will soon

Dear Members:
Governor LeVander will, within the next week to ten days,
appoint someone to serve on the Metropolitan Transit Commission.
to represent Anoka and Washington counties. As you know, Bruce
Nawrocki of Columbia Heights has been serving in this position
until his term recently expired.
It would indeed be a tremendous loss to both Anoka and Washington
counties should he not be appointed.
The Board of Directors of the Anoka County Association of
Municipalities, therefore, urges you to ask your Council to
pass a resolution requesting Governor LeVander to appoint
Mayor Nawrocki to the Transit Commission.
