HomeMy WebLinkAbout2021-003 Council ResolutionCITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 21-03 APPROVING A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 01-21 FOR PUBLICATION WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 01-21 vacating Park, Oaks of Lino Park; and WHEREAS, the City Council approved the first reading on January 11, 2021, and the second reading and final passage on January 25, 2021; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 01-21 is lengthy and MN statute 412.191 allows the city to publish a summary of an ordinance, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the summary clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance, and WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the City Council approves the summary in Attachment A for publication according to state law and the City Charter. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25th day of January, 2021. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member Cavegn and was duly seconded by Council Member Stoesz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Stoesz, Ruhland, Lyden, Cavegn, Rafferty The following voted against same: fferty, Mayor ATTEST: Bartell, C. Cler ATTACHMENT A CITY OF LINO LAKES SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 01-21 AN ORDINANCE VACATING PARK, OAKS OF LINO Section 1: Findings The City Council of Lino Lakes has determined to vacate the parcel legally described as Park, Oaks of Lino; and A public hearing was held on January 11, 2021 before the City Council in the City Hall Council Chambers after due published and posted notice had been given and reasonable attempts were made to give personal notice to all affected property owners, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard; and Section 2: Effect This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to the Lino Lakes City Charter and upon recording of the Park Vacation. Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council on January 25, 2021. This is a summary of the adopted ordinance. A full printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall.
